Most trucks and SUVs come from the factory with dark rear glass — but that's smoked glass, not window film. It's dyed during manufacturing, so while it looks dark and adds privacy, it offers no real heat rejection and no meaningful UV protection.
That's why so many owners only need the front two done. You get a matched look front to back, and real film goes exactly where the sun hits you and your passenger.

70% — Nearly invisible. Almost no change in appearance. Chosen for heat and UV protection rather than looks or privacy.
50% — Light. A subtle darkening that takes the edge off glare while keeping the glass looking natural.
35% — The classic look. A clean factory-style shade with mild privacy. Still easy to see out at night.
20% — Noticeably dark. Our most popular shade. Strong privacy with a sharp look, and still very drivable after dark.
15% — Dark. Serious privacy and a bold, blacked-out appearance. Takes a little getting used to at night.
5% — Limo. The darkest we install. Maximum privacy, though night visibility is noticeably reduced.
